Position Summary

We are looking for a dynamic Pump Sales Engineer with a h3 background in sales and project execution. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for sales and delivery of pump dewatering projects throughout various market sectors. You will work closely with both customers and internal teams to ensure successful implementation, meeting both technical specifications and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop business opportunities through customer facing visits, meetings, site surveys, whilst utilising industry knowledge in Saudi Arabia to aid business development.
  • Provide technical support to prospective clients, ensuring the proposed solutions meet the customer’s requirements and align with industry best practices.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with key accounts, assisting both before and after sales to address queries, propose new solutions, and ensure long-term customer satisfaction.
  • Develop proposals, quotes, and presentations for pump dewatering systems and services, highlighting both technical features and business benefits.
  • Assist in the handover process to the client or operations team after project completion, ensuring all documentation is accounted for.
  • Collect and analyse customer feedback to inform future project improvements and sales strategies.
  • Lead and manage dewatering pump projects from initial consultation through installation and commissioning, ensuring timelines, budget, and customer expectations are met.
  • Proactively identify risks or technical challenges, working with internal teams and customers to resolve them quickly and efficiently.
  • Work closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution and high-quality customer outcomes.
  • Report on sales activities, project progress, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to management monthly. Highlight potential challenges, opportunities, and any adjustments required to meet targets.

Qualifications & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience of water treatment, dewatering systems, fluid dynamics, and system integration.
  • Demonstratable experience of achieving sales targets and business development.
  • Experience of managing projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Proactive approach to identifying technical problems and offering effective solutions.
  • h3 interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience using project management tools (e.g., MS Project) and CRM systems (e.g., MCS).
  • Organised and detail-oriented with h3 time-management skills.
  • Customer-centric mindset, with a focus on providing tailored solutions and maintaining long-term relationships.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to drive both technical and commercial objectives forward.
